The NSW branch of the Australian Association for Religious Education, services the religious education needs of New South Wales and the ACT located within it. Focusing on providing religious educators with professional development support, the AARE NSW & ACT branch provides quality events and resources to its Members.
From 2024 – our AARE National Professional Development focus is enhanced by the involement of our new AARE NSW & ACT Committee. Many of the recently advertised PD opportunities on this website already, are thanks to these people.
Chapains & Religious Educators can access the State’s News, &/or PD & Events pages and are encouraged to sign up via the Membership page.
Details for coming PD & Events are posted on the Home page at ‘Recent Posts’ and the relevant State’s PD & Events pages. Online &/or events that are recorded, can be accessed by other AARE State’s Members & their invited contacts.
Members can access the Resources contents, for provisions applicable to Primary and Secondary teachers in Australian school contexts, and other religious school contexts on this website; such as early education, tertiary and Home-School learning environments.
