Endorsement and participation encouragement:
Christina Douglas says,
“I am the National Vice President of the Australian Association for Religious Education, and as I am the person on the AARE National Board with the most International Baccalaureate (IB) experience, let me bring IB to your attention. There are advantages aligning with other organisations in regards to Religious Education in schools. As professionals, we really only benefit from the alliance with IB – a respected and credible globally recognised organisation. I think it is appropriate that all our various denominational member schools and colleges have the opportunity to recieve what IB contribute, something the AARE actively goes about finding and promoting to our members, noting that I am currently working at PLC Presbyterian Ladies College.”

With all the available technology to meet online = this will be a rare in-person AGM. We are reminded of the past challenges of COVID: that affected so many, restricted travel and created remote-learning for many students.
Respecting also all the various roles AARE State and National members have that may compete for their time ~ this will be a meeting to be sure to get to. For those travelling inter-state we appreciate and value your effort.
It is set to be an important occasion to encapsulate ALL that we are celebrating from the past 50 years of ministry.
We are also coming together to jointly shape the plans and approaches for future 50 years of ministry.
